Analyzing Games

"Activism The Public Policy"

"Activism the Public Policy" is a persuasive game. It is the kind of game that influence players to take action through gameplay. In this game, the player has to do many activities at once to improve the public policy issues within the limited time. I played the game and I only survive for 5 minutes. It is hard to follow and do six activities at once. However, it does give me some experience while playing it. In this game I can make many mistakes and still be fine, just play another round. But I think if some body in one of these positions in real life make any mistake, it would be a big problem. The gameplay is easy. What difficult it is too many to do at once and it's hard to follow. I learn that even though the gameplay is easy, but in real life activities is much harder. While play this game, I'm thinking about those people who really do these jobs. I learn that it's not easy for them like it seems to be. Overall, I think this is a good persuasive game. It influence me and let me learn something. Even though I didn't passed the game, I still like it.

"Deliver the Net" and "Food Force"

"Deliver the Net" and "Food Force" are both persuasive games because they influence my emotion and my point of view while playing them. They both have one common point. That is to help those in need. In "Deliver the Net", the mission is to deliver the bed net to help those who living in Africa from malaria. Having the nearly same idea, "Food Force" deliver food to those who hungry. While playing them, I try to deliver net and food to those people as fast as I could to win the games. However, there is no winning or losing in these games. At the end of each games, a message will come up to tell me what is happening in real life. Those messages cause me to think about those who in need, and I really want to help them. They change my point of view about the world. That is there are many people who still living in poor, and many places on earth are way worse than the place that I'm living. I think these games are to educate people things that happening in real life at the places that worse than our place. There are many people who are in need, and these games show us how we can help them. They advertising their organizations and asking those people who play the games to help by donate few dollars to them.
