Ecological Footprint "End"

My start score was really bad in my opinion. However, I tried to reduce it within 24 hours. I cut out my meat consume and only eat vegetables. I also try to use paper less when taking notes in class. Beside that, I take my best to recycle. I reduce my electricity use by not having television on while playing on computer and turn light off when I don't need it. In addition, I reduce my water use by taking shorter shower and do dishes faster. Because I have to drive for school, so I cannot cut it back. However, I don't go to anywhere beside school. I think it is not hard to reduce my "planets score" within 24 hours. But in a long run, this can be a problem to me. If I keep up with it, I think I can do it. However, it takes time for me to change my lifestyle.

No Technology "End"

End

It wasn't that hard to not using communication technology in one day. It just kind of bore without internet, television, and music. I can survive fine without it because I mostly spend my time with people around me. I think I active more without using communication technology. It is because I go out more like shopping and eat. However, without communication technology I was clueless about the news going on in the world. I think that communication technology is that really important that I cannot survive without it. It is just for entertainment. However, communication technology does help me knows more about the world and get quicker acess to the information and the people that I want.

No Technology "Start"

Start

"One Challege"

I think the most important thing to me and my family is safety. I and my family always want to live in a safe environment since we been lived in a war in the past. I think that if I can live in a safe environment, I can work hard for living. I am and my family are immigrant and we came here with nothing. However, we work hard to have a living here. Now, we have house and car live many other Americans. But if we have lots of money but without safety, we can lose it anytime. My grandfather had lots of money, but everything was gone within a night because of the war. So, I think what most important is safety. I think we can only build our live or our wealth only if we can live in a safe environment.

Analyzing Games

"Activism The Public Policy"

"Activism the Public Policy" is a persuasive game. It is the kind of game that influence players to take action through gameplay. In this game, the player has to do many activities at once to improve the public policy issues within the limited time. I played the game and I only survive for 5 minutes. It is hard to follow and do six activities at once. However, it does give me some experience while playing it. In this game I can make many mistakes and still be fine, just play another round. But I think if some body in one of these positions in real life make any mistake, it would be a big problem. The gameplay is easy. What difficult it is too many to do at once and it's hard to follow. I learn that even though the gameplay is easy, but in real life activities is much harder. While play this game, I'm thinking about those people who really do these jobs. I learn that it's not easy for them like it seems to be. Overall, I think this is a good persuasive game. It influence me and let me learn something. Even though I didn't passed the game, I still like it.

"Deliver the Net" and "Food Force"

"Deliver the Net" and "Food Force" are both persuasive games because they influence my emotion and my point of view while playing them. They both have one common point. That is to help those in need. In "Deliver the Net", the mission is to deliver the bed net to help those who living in Africa from malaria. Having the nearly same idea, "Food Force" deliver food to those who hungry. While playing them, I try to deliver net and food to those people as fast as I could to win the games. However, there is no winning or losing in these games. At the end of each games, a message will come up to tell me what is happening in real life. Those messages cause me to think about those who in need, and I really want to help them. They change my point of view about the world. That is there are many people who still living in poor, and many places on earth are way worse than the place that I'm living. I think these games are to educate people things that happening in real life at the places that worse than our place. There are many people who are in need, and these games show us how we can help them. They advertising their organizations and asking those people who play the games to help by donate few dollars to them.
